What Are The Types Of Pavers
Now that you know what a paver is, we will discuss some distinct types of pavers used to create pathways, high wycombe patios, and other outdoor spaces. There are mainly four types of them; let us have a look:
· Concrete Pavers:
It is a dry mixture of small stones, sand, cement, etc. These pavers are made up of a barely distinct procedure using a minimal quantity of water. Then the mould in which the mixture was put is now being pressed and moved into and fro motion, which helps the water bind the mix to fix cement with all the additional elements. These pavers are predominantly used in highly supervised industries and used on the road or other roads like footpaths, etc., with various colours because of the pigments.
· Brick Pavers:
These pavers are also known as clay pavers because they are made of clay, and they are a shaley structure. There are many ways to make brick pavers, but the widely used method of making clay pavers is the most efficient way in which the clay is soft in the structure. Some concentration of sand is mixed with the clay to avoid shrinkage. Then the clay is put in the moulds and heated to a very high temperature of more than 900 Celsius. The mixture of raw elements with natural properties gives the pavers long-lasting life. The clay pavers also come in various colours, especially red and grey, but they have less shade than concrete pavers.
· Plastic Pavers:
This type of paver comes from one of the most innovative ideas ever: plastic pavers, which are made of either new plastic or waste plastic, or recycled plastic which is an excellent initiative towards the environment along with the quality and the innovativeness. The procedure for making these pavers is as follows. First, we melt the plastic in a considerable quantity, then mix it with the soil, blend them, put them in the containers, and wait until they have not dried and are ready to use.
· Marble Pavers:
These are the most commonly heard and expensive paver types, primarily used in locations like big apartments, companies, etc. They come in several different shades and patterns and have a great appearance. They are made up of limestone. It is a perfect option for outdoor use on footpaths or roads because of its distinct good properties in sweltering climates, it remains cold in touch, and these pave pavers are suitable for handling the traffic as these pavers have a thickness.
